Joseph Layne

Beloved son, brother and uncle, Joseph Layne, age 79, born October 24, 1944 passed away on Saturday December 23 surrounded by family. Joe was loved dearly by his family and friends.  He worked as a coal miner and a skilled construction worker in both Kentucky and Ohio.  He resided in Hilliard, OH and most recently at Riverview Health Center. Joe was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Brooxie Layne, along with brothers, Don, Jimmy and Bill. Joe is survived by siblings, John Frank Layne, and Mary Lou Dodson and Sister-in-Law Betty Lou Layne (Don). Joe leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family will receive friends Saturday, January 13, 2023 from 10am-11am at TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will follow 11 am. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
