It is with deep sorrow and aching hearts, we announce the passing of Jose Antonio Mora Milla. Born on November 12, 2007, and is survived by his mother Ines Millan Cruz, his siblings Nancy, Sandy, Hector, Carlos, Mary, and his twin brother Miguel. Jose was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at an early age and he succumbed to his illness on July 11 of 2025. Jose was a brilliant light in the lives of all who knew him—his intellect, quick wit, and humor left an unforgettable mark.
Jose’s love for reading opened doorways to countless worlds, and his fondness for anime, video games, movies, and TV shows was more than a hobby—it was a reflection of his vibrant imagination and curiosity. He brought laughter to quiet rooms, depth to every conversation, and warmth to every gathering.
His cleverness was matched only by his kindness, and his presence was a comfort to friends and family alike. Jose was funny in ways that made people think, and thoughtful in ways that made people feel seen.
Though his time with us was far too short, the stories, smiles, and memories he gifted us will live on. We celebrate the life he led and the joy he brought—he will be missed deeply, remembered lovingly, and cherished always.
