John Murakami, age 60, of Hilliard, passed away August 3, 2020.  Retired from 30yr career with City of Columbus. Preceded in death by former wife, Linda (Marks), mother of his children Kristen, Elise and Max. Survived by parents George & Grace (Uhlman) Murakami, loving wife Rebecca (Carroll) Murakami, children Kristen (Ryan) Grosser; Elise Murakami (Eddie Powers) and Maxwell Murakami; stepdaughter Emily Scholl, siblings Jeff (Pat) Murakami and  Mike (Lisa) Murakami, grandchildren Jacob Murakami; Vivian Murakami and Jackson Powers, beloved nephews & niece. Family will receive friends Saturday 1-3 pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a memorial service will follow at 3 pm. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Wildlife Center, 6131 Cook Rd, Powell, OH 43065.
