John Kesler

John Kesler known as Pat, Dad, Crapaw, Papaw Minnie and Grandpa Uncle Pat to his family, passed away on 8-11-2025.

Pat loved watching Nascar and going to the dirt track races with his sister and brother-in-law. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish whenever he could. When he was not honing his hunting skills, he could be found spending time with his children and grandchildren. Pat, spent time with his friends at the Moose Lodge in Hilliard, “solving all the world’s problems” as he would say. If you knew him, you know he never met a stranger and would chat up anyone at any time.

Pat will be remembered for his orneriness and shit eatin grin. To us he will be known as the man with the ‘stache: the man, the myth, the legend; the one who said “Damn, I did make it to Alaska”

Pat leaves behind his sister Carolyn Kesler (John Cross), Sean Kesler (Heather), Wendi McClure, (Kevin) and Alyson Townsend. Grandchildren, Maddie, Presley, Addy and Ella. As well as an Aunt, Uncle and a multitude of cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
