Jerry Baum

Jerry R. Baum, age 83, of Plain City, formally long-time resident of Hilliard, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022. He is preceded in death by numerous family members. Jerry was the Hilliard 4^th of July Parade Marshal for over 50 years, Avery Masonic Lodge 493, Hilliard Optimist Club where he held numerous positions, member of numerous other clubs and organizations. He retired from ODOT, and Kroger’s at Hilliard Rome Road.

Jerry is survived by wife Goldie, son Craig (Jill) Baum, daughter Kris (Bob) Karnes, 4 grandchildren, and numerous relatives and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 P.M., on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH, 43026. In honoring Jerry’s request there will be no funeral service and cremation will take place.
