Virginia Lea Wiley

Jenny Lea Wiley, age 81, passed away surrounded by family on December 21, 2023.  She was born on August 22, 1942, in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Vivian and Frances Davis.  

Jenny was a proud Girl Scout, a skilled Divemaster and an avid sailor.  She sailed from Florida to the Bahamas, the Bahamas to Cuba, from Cuba to Bermuda, Bermuda to the Azores and from there she headed to Spain before she made her last sail to the Canary Islands before sailing home.  During her time traveling the country, she made thousands of friends that became her Peak Potentials Family.

Jenny is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James E. Wiley, her parents, Vivian and Frances Davis, and sisters, Jane Bugg & Sue Snook.  

She is survived by her children, Denise Edwards (Patrick), Rachel Wiley (Lin), and Karen Datsko (Patrick), her sister, Ann Farley (Billy Don), her grandchildren, who know her as Mer, Brandon Edwards (Carie), Eric Edwards, Corey Howells (Laura), Alex Howells (Courtney), Aaron Datsko, Hallie Datsko, Dylan DeLong, Caitlyn Stevenson (Jon), and Victoria & Collin Stedman, her great grandchildren, Maya Edwards, Willow Edwards, Axle Edwards, Lilah Krecow, Stella Howells, Ophelia Howells, and Skylar Paul, and countless other family and friends.  Jenny will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held for Jenny at Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, in Hilliard, Ohio.  Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, December 30th, from 12:00 - 1:00pm, with the funeral service following at 1:00pm.
