Jenny Cathern Keaton King

January 10, 1955 — February 12, 2023

Known as Kitten to her family, Cathe was born Jenny Cathern Keaton-King on
January 10, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio to Jenny and Taft Keaton.

Cathe was a young mother, a gift that ultimately made her a young
grandmother, a.k.a. Granny Snoopy - possibly her favorite thing about which to
brag. A devoted younger sister, she made multiple cross country trips to spend
time with her Favorite Sister and brother-in-law, both as a teenager exploring
California's theme parks and later as a devoted Aunt with a suitcase full of snacks
and treats to sneak her niece and nephew. Despite being a lifelong vegetarian, she
loved to take care of others by making meaty family dinners for friends and
strangers alike. Her unwavering beliefs stretched beyond her strong faith to include
the wonder of Derek Morgan, the greatness of the Kansas City Chiefs, and the
unquestionable awesomeness of The Ohio State University. Known for her sense of
humor, she will be remembered for her quick smile and her story telling.

She is survived by her sister Phyliss Keaton Reily, daughter Jennifer King (Ken)
Miller, and son Michael King. She was a grandmother of six (Carl David Phillips III,
Jasper S. Miller, Austin J. Miller, Blake King, Christopher King, and Maddie Davis), a
great-grandmother of two (Carl David Phillips IV and Hayden Taft Phillips), and an
aunt of three (Sydney Reily Hill, David "Sam" Reily, and Jeramy B. Hill).

A proud Daddy's girl to the end, Cathe's final resting place will be in Plain
City, Ohio with her parents who proceeded her in death.  The graveside service will be Tuesday, September 12th at 10:30 am at the Forest Grove Cemetery, 8270 Cemetery Pike in Plain City, OH.  Following the service, the family invites friends to join them for a luncheon.
