Jennifer Sagun

Jennifer Hays Sagun, age 66, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on January 18, 2026. She was born on April 22, 1959, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Albert Ellis Hays and Betty Lee Hays. 

A remarkable and meaningful bond marked Jennifer’s life from beginning to end. She was born on April 22, sharing her birthday with her beloved mother, Betty Lee—a connection that always held special meaning to her family. In a poignant reflection of that bond, Jennifer passed away on the same calendar day as her mother, a reminder of the enduring love and unbreakable connection between mother and daughter that transcends time. 

Jennifer was a proud graduate of Steubenville High School, Class of 1977. She was a loyal Eagles Lodge member and a lifelong supporter of her hometown, remaining a devoted fan of the football programs at both Steubenville Big Red and The Ohio State University. Above all, she cherished her beloved dog, Miss Maxine, who brought her constant companionship and joy.

 In addition to her career in communications and the food and beverage industry, she had a love for travel and found particular joy and peace at the beach, where she enjoyed the sunshine, ocean air, and quiet moments of reflection. Those who knew Jennifer will remember her for her warm spirit and her loyalty to family and friends. 

She is survived by her son, Jeremy David Sagun; her sisters, Cheryl Hays, Jayne Cohn (Robert), and Rachel Conley (Aaron); her nieces, Erin Miller (Andrew), Payton Thompson (Kenneth), Ashlyn Conley, Mikayla Conley, and Carmen Conley; her nephew, Evan Cohn (Sarah); and numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Jennifer will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. 

Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 1:00–1:30 p.m. at Tidd Funeral Home with Crematory, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio 43026, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1:30 p.m.
