James Ramey, Sr.

James Leroy Ramey, Sr., age 75, of Columbus, passed away December 10, 2021. Member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and a retired carpenter. Jimmy was an avid musician playing mandolin, guitar, singing and writing songs. Preceded in death by parents William and Anna Ramey, son James Ramey Jr., brothers Jerry “JC”, Harold, Charles and William, sister Dorothy Collins and niece Barbara Silvia. Survived by family Angel Silvia, Dillon, Olivia and Jessica Silvia, Austin and Zack, children Kristine, Trisha, Andrew, Mendy and Joshua, 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews, church family and friends. Family will receive friends Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 11 am- 12 pm at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 2525 Gantz Rd., Grove City, OH 43123; where funeral service will follow at 12 pm. Interment Big Darby Cemetery. Please deliver all flowers to the church.
