James A. McKenna

James A. McKenna, Sr., age 78, of Hilliard, Ohio, died Sunday, September 4, 2016 with his wife Margaret by his side as she had been every day of his lengthy battle with MS. Jim worked in maintenance at The Ohio State University for many years following his career as owner of Jim’s Barber Shop on Sedalia Drive. Former leader of Webelos Troop 288. He was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Gertrude McKenna and brother, Dr. Frank McKenna. He is survived by his wife of nearly 57 years, Margaret Ann; sons, Jim (Kristen), Frank and John (Sandy); grandchildren, Molly, Stacey, Jay and Austin McKenna; Jon and Becky Puckett; sister-in-law Ruth McKenna and family. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8p.m. THURSDAY at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio 43026 (614)-876-1722 where his funeral service will be held 11:00a.m. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2016 with Evangelist Mike Breidenbagh, officiating. Interment will follow the service at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
