Jack Barker

Born November 7, 1937 in Bath, Michigan on July 10, 2026 our beloved husband, father, and grandfather age 88, went to be with the Lord with his family by his side. 

Jack was a member and trustee of the New Beginnings Church of God, Hilliard, OH, where he sang and played his harmonica faithfully for the Lord. He served in the military Air Force where he was an E5 in status and later worked for UPS for 28 years. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Hassan, his daughter Jackie Brown, son-in-law Barry Brown, and brother Robert Barker. 

In his spare time he loved to hunt and fish, and had many great stories of those adventures. 

He leaves behind his beloved wife Carol of 57 years, Children Terry(Diane) Barker, Paul Barker, Twania (Kenny) Loy, Dale (Sandy) Barker, Sister Carol Ann Garcia, Sister-in-law Janet Moore, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours will be Sunday, July 19th, from 4-6 at Tidd Funeral Home, Hilliard, OH, and 1 hour before services, July 20th at the church. Services will be at the New Beginnings Church of God at 4410 Avery Road, Hilliard, OH on July 20th at 10AM Final resting will be at Alton Cemetery, Galloway, ОН.

Arrangements are with the Tidd Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Ken Skaggs.
