Howard McMeans

Howard McMeans Sr., age 98, of Hilliard, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran. Retired from Kroger after 29 years. He enjoyed fishing and nature. He loved to read the Bible and spend time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy McMeans. Survived by children, Howard (Sue) McMeans, Barb (Ken) Thompson, and Jim (Karen) McMeans; JoAnne (Ellsworth) Porter and Phyllis (Ken) Crady, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and his caregiver, Rada Gibson. Family will receive friends Friday from 10-11 AM at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026 where a funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
