Harold Bryant

Harold Eugene Bryant, age 83, born October 4, 1925, went to be with Jesus on Saturday December 6, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. Eugene was a member of Canaan land Freewill Baptist Church, and charter member of the VFW Post 4931. He is preceded in death by father, Basil; brother, Kenneth; and sister, Betty Bryant. Eugene served in the U.S. Navy in WWII and is retired from Marble Cliff Quarry. Survived by loving wife, Irene; mother, Ivory; sister, Juanita; daughter, Sharandia; sons, Larry (Sally), and Gary (Mary). He was deeply loved by grandchildren, Barry (April), Rodney (Sheila), Josh (Shannon), Trisha, Susan, Mark, Katie, Amanda, and Nick. Eugene loved his precious great-grandchildren, Warren, Baylee, Jaiden, Isaac, Megan, Madyson, Ella, and Luke. He was happiest being at home with his family and playing his mandolin. Family will receive friends and loved ones Tuesday from 5-8pm at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11am with Rev. Mike Blanton officiating. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
