Glenwerd Arthur Carrick, III

Dec 20, 1970 — Jul 13, 2026

Johnstown, Ohio

Glenwerd Arthur Carrick III, affectionately known as "Corky" and "Fuzzy," passed away on July 13, 2026, in Johnstown, Ohio, at the age of 55. Born on December 20, 1970, in Bellaire, Ohio, Glen lived a life filled with extraordinary experiences, Rock N Roll, dedication to his work, and the freedom of the open road.            In his early years, Glen pursued a career as a certified Audi mechanic, showcasing his technical skills and love for cars. Later in life, he transitioned into the role of a claims adjuster, where his attention to detail and commitment to helping others were evident. Beyond his professional endeavors, Glen proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was part of the 554th Military Police Company and served in Germany during his time in the military.

He will be remembered for his free spirit and the joy he found on the open road. Riding his Harley wasn't just a hobby—it was where he felt most alive, embracing the freedom of every mile. He made not only friends but a family through riding. From a young age, music was another great love of his life. With a guitar in his hands, he could express what words often could not, sharing his passion with family and friends through every song he played and story he told. Whether he was riding beneath an open sky or strumming familiar melodies, he lived life with heart, authenticity, and a spirit that inspired those around him.                                               His memory will live on in every open road, every guitar string, and in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. Those who knew him will remember the many long conversations he would frequently share about his hobbies and interests.

He is survived by his beloved daughter Kaitlin Coy and her husband Craig Coy; his cherished grandsons Carter, Payton, Harvey, and Derek; and his mother Nancy Carrick. Glen was predeceased by his father, Glenwerd Carrick Jr.

May Glen’s memory bring comfort to those who knew him. His legacy of service, hard work, and connection with others will not be forgotten. A Celebration of Life will be held on SATURDAY, AUGUST 1, 2026, from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM at Tidd Family Funeral Home 5265 Norwich St . Hilliard, OH 43026.  This won’t be a formal gathering.
