Gladys Marie Holstein

Gladys Marie Holstein, age 83, of Hilliard, passed away February 13, 2023. She was born in Olcott, WV, November 9, 1939 to the late Orville and Erma Chandler. Retired as a cook with Resurrection Lutheran Church Day Care and Ecole Maison. She enjoyed baking and spending time with her grandchildren. Preceded in death by brothers Orville Chandler Jr., Bobby Chandler and James Chandler, sisters Betty Bailey, Ruth Baker, Helen Bailey, Joann Chandler and son David Holstein. Survived by loving husband of 67 years Billy J. Sr., children Jimmy (Leslie) Holstein, Linda (Edwin) Bryant, Billy (Susan) Holstein Jr., Ronald Lee (Michelle) Holstein, daughter-in-law Annettia Holstein, siblings Lowell  Chandler, Johnny Chandler, Roger Chandler and Sue Barker, 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, numerous loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, February 17, 2023 with visitation 1 hour prior to the time of service. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glioblastoma Foundation, P.O. Box 62066, Durham, NC 27715.
