Geraldine Ann Baird

Geraldine “Gerry” Ann Baird, age 77, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, doing what she felt comfortable with doing. She was born on September 10th 1948, in Columbus, Ohio. Gerry graduated from Bishop Ready High School, along with the Columbus School of Stenography.

Gerry was the cherished mother of Jason (Sara) Huston, who she baptized into the Catholic Church in 1977. Gerry is survived by her sister Bonnie Baird (Daniel), her brother Jack (Debbie) Baird and sister-in-law Jeannie (George) Baird, along with numerous nephews and nieces. Gerry was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn & Frances Baird, her twin brother Larry Baird, and older brother George (Jeannie) Baird.

Gerry raised her son as a single divorced mother, working two full-time jobs and one part-time job a week. As a parent, Gerry was a highly structured and highly strict parent, caring that doing right versus wrong was adhered by. As an American, Gerry cared about doing her part for the company and working harder than any counterpart in her career field. That in itself is what has made this country what it is.

Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00a.m. FRIDAY, MARCH 27, 2027 at ST. PATRICK CHURCH, 280 North Grant Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215 with Father Edmund Ditton, O.P., Celebrant.  Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
