George Matthew Bush

George M Bush age 88, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026. George was born on February 22, 1937, in Columbus, Ohio, to George R. and Margart Verone (Kish) Bush.

George is preceded in death by his parents, George R. Bush and Margart Verone (Kish) Bush. 

George is survived by is loving wife of 69 years, Miriam A. (Scott) Bush, sons, George R. (Michelle Horn) Bush, Craig (Vickie Chaney) Bush, Todd (Becky Schneider) Bush, Matthew Bush and Michael Bush (Stacy Reinstetle), grandchildren, Adam Bush, Jason Bush, Shane Bush, Sarah (Bush) Ewald, Cody Bush, and Alyssa Bush, as well as 11 great grandchildren.

George was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio, where he served as a Deacon. George loved Dogs, Brownies, Sweets and Der Dutchman long john donuts. He especially loved Christmas and being surrounded by his family.

The family would like to thank Mt. Carmel Hospice for the great care that they provided for George. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery following a private service at Tidd Funeral Home in Hilliard Ohio.
