Geoffrey Joseph D Souza October 31, 1940 – September 17, 2025.

Geoffrey Joseph D Souza, 84, formerly of Anthonian Apartments Karachi, Pakistan passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, at Mount Carmel Hospital in Dublin, Ohio.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 63 years, Bernadette D Souza; his children, Jacqueline D Souza of Canada, Janette Rodrigues (Darin) of Plain City, Ohio, and Brendon D Souza (Carol) of Houston, Texas; and his grandchildren, Janelle, Damien, and Donovan Rodrigues, and Logan D Souza.

Geoffrey built a distinguished career in accounting, spending 11 years with Alpha Insurance in Karachi and 12 years with Royal Flight in Muscat, Oman, before dedicating over 15 years of service to St. Paul’s High School in Karachi, where he was deeply respected and cherished by colleagues and students alike.

Beyond his work, Geoffrey was a passionate sports fan of cricket, tennis and squash who loved singing, dancing, and being the life of the party. He was a strong, ambitious, and determined man whose presence left a lasting mark in the hearts of all who knew him. Though strong-willed at times, his steadfast spirit and drive shaped his family in ways they will always cherish.

A funeral service will be held in Geoffrey’s honor at St. Brendan the Navigator Church, 4475 Dublin Rd, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026, on Saturday, September 27, 2025. The viewing (open casket) will begin at 10:00 - 10:30 AM; followed immediately by the funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Following the service, Geoffrey will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 N High St, Lewis Center, OH 43035.
