Gary T. Robison

Gary T. Robison, age 87, died on September 11, 2022. He was born on July 2, 1935 to the late Fred A. Robison Sr., and Bertha(Smith) Robison. He is survived by his wonderful and caring wife, Betty(Lewis) Robison to whom he was married for 66 great years. His children, Sherri Robison Grimone and Greg Robison, and their respective spouses, Brian Grimone and Marian(Layfield) Robison, also survive him,

Gary was also survived by six grandchildren: Jessica Grimone-Hopkins (Nick Hopkins); Kristin Grimone; Mitchell Grimonę; Stacie Robison Carney(Graham Carney); Grant Robison and Ashley Munoz(fiance); Leslie Robison; great-grandson Harrison Hopkins and great-grandaughter Reese Carney. Gary also had five siblings: Patricia Mae(Forest) Krumm(deceased); Fredrick A. Robison Jr.(deceased)and spouse Vera Robison; Judy(Herb) Kennedy; Richard(Ginny) Robison; Janice(Bill) Middleton, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Gary graduated from Columbus Central High School in 1953 and was Class President. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 1957 with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration, and graduated from OSU's College of Law in 1960. He was the Vice-President of his law school class. 

Gary enjoyed the practice of law. After various positions he joined the firm of Boehm, Rance, and Pritchett in 1973. At the time of Gary's retirement, the firm was known as Rance, Pritchett, Branter, Robison, and Keller. 

During his career, he was associated with various religious and service organizations. These associations included: Elder at Crestview Presbyterian Church; Northern Kiwanis Club member; and a member of the Hilliard Athletic Boosters including two years as President. He enjoyed his high school and law school classmates and the many class reunions he attended. Gary enjoyed golfing, grouse hunting with his brittany spaniels, fishing, and playing tennis with his family and great friends. 

Gary also thanks his great neighbors for being so kind and helpful in so many ways to him and his wife Betty. 

Calling hours will be from 3:00-4:00p.m. on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2022 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street,Hilliard,OH, 43026. His service will immediately follow at 4:00p.m. with Chaplain John Ruiz, officiating.  Burial services will be held later by the family at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, he had requested donations can be made to The Holy Family Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry at 57 South Grubb Street, Columbus, OH, 43215.
