Frederick Ridgley

Frederick Melvin Ridgley was born on November 18, 1933 near Zanesville, Ohio, and died July 26,2021 at his home near Hilliard, Ohio. Fred was a man of great humor who loved telling jokes. He was a longtime member of the Cemetery Road Church of Christ. Fred began a career in data processing as a young man, moved on to work in the fledgling computer IT industry, and finally retired from working at Hilliard City Schools. In retirement he thoroughly enjoyed watching backyard nature from his recliner, puttering around his garage, and mowing the lawn. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Wendy, and their son Justin (Hallie) Ridgley. He is also survived by his children with his late wife Nancy: Phyllis (Wayne) Galloway; Litisha (Don) Evanoo; Colette (Tony) Harden; Aaron (Michelle) Ridgley; Brenda (Audie) Bozik. He is also survived by his sister Sandra (Bill) Roberts, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The Memorial Visitation hours at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME are 2-4pm on Sunday, August 8, 2021. A private family service of interment at the gravesite will be held on Monday, August 9. 2021.
