Florence Brogan

Florence Yvonne Brogan, age 80, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on April 11, 1945, in Springer, New Mexico to John and Trella Graham. On August 19, 1961, Florence married her beloved Pat Brogan, beginning a marriage filled with love, laughter, and family.

Florence was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Florence retired from Hilliard City Schools, where she worked as a dedicated teacher’s aide. She loved spending time with her family, tending her garden, and cherished her annual “sister trips.” Her selflessness, laughter and love for her family will be deeply missed.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Patrick Brogan; her grandson, Dustin Graham Brogan; and her brothers, Kenneth and Roger Graham.

She is survived by her sons, John Brogan (Robert Scanlon), Donald (Julia) Brogan, and Darin (Rhonda) Brogan; her daughter, Barbara Brogan (Benjamin Meinhold); grandchildren, Brock (Chloe) Brogan, Katlyn Brogan (Yuyeol Pak), and Ollie Meinhold; great-grandchildren, Harley, Roronoa, Izydore, and Nova; her brother, John Roy Graham; sisters, Sandra (Albert) Castellini, Anna (Ron) Hill, and Sherri (Steve) Johnston; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

A ceremony will be held at Tidd Funeral Home on Monday, September 8, 2025, with visiting hours beginning at 3 p.m. and a service at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
