Esther "Cookie" Bando-Salyankar

Esther “Cookie Bando” Salyankar, age 60, of Columbus, passed away Friday, May 18, 2012. Preceded in death by her husband, Raj Salyankar; parents, Narciso and Perla Bando; brother butch and uncle Vittorio. Survived by her reunited son, Pete (Heather) Monteleone; grandchildren, Anthony, Pete Jr., Rachael, Nick and Joey; siblings,, Lou (Cherry), Vic (Pam), Faith (Wayne), Pearl (Duke), and Dante; nieces and nephews, Andrea (Dave), Dominic (Elizabeth), Anthony (Jenny), Dante (Jamie), Theresa, Samantha, Paul, Stephen, and Angela; great nieces and nephews, Jacob, Ava, Michael, Noah, and Olivia; numerous relatives in Itlay; friends, Diane, Brenda, Penny, Marty, Mike, Amanda, and Kris. Cookie was a compassionate person always taking on the role of caretaker, most importantly to her family. Cookie’s family would like to extend a special thank you to The Norwich Township Fire Dept., Riverside Methodist Hospital, 7 North Oncology, and Homereach Hospice.
