Emmalou was a farmer’s daughter who loved flowers, plants, birds, and animals. She also enjoyed making crafts and teaching others to do the same. Throughout the years, she opened her home to many in generous hospitality, hosted several Bible studies, and crocheted countless baby blankets and booties for family, friends, and preemies through Touching Little Lives, Inc.

Emmalou had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  She was an active member along with her husband of the Gideons International, a trainer for Evangelism Explosion, and was a leader or member in several churches, including Fairview Presbyterian Church (Thomas, PA), Trinity Assembly of God (Columbus), Christ the King Lutheran (Columbus), Northwest Presbyterian (Dublin), Christian Community Church (Columbus) and Berachah Church (Delaware).

Emmalou was the loving mother of daughter Lynette Pellarin of Wheeling, WV; son Robert (Wanda) of Longview, TX, and son Matthew Roller (deceased).  The joy of her life were her 8 grandchildren: Zachary (Thomie) Pellarin of Matthews, NC; Brady (Alexa) Pellarin of Bridgeville, PA; Cody (Mariah) Pellarin of Wheeling, WV; Nicole Roller of Logan, Ohio; Mark Roller of Delaware; Laura (Ryan) Miller of Overland Park, KS, Rachel Roller of Mishawaka, IN, and Timothy Roller (deceased); and her 6 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her many friends and family members due to her loving personality and generous spirit.
