Elster Carter

Elster W. Carter “JR”, age 69, of Marysville, Ohio, passed away May 16, 2020. Born November 26, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio. Graduated from Hilliard High School in 1969. He enlisted in the US Army where he served in Vietnam 1969-1971. Elster retired from sales at Arlington Blaine Lumber in 2002 with 29 years of service.  Preceded in death by son Brian, parents Elster and Agnes Carter Sr. Survived by loving wife of 47 years Ruth Ann, daughter Lisa, grandchildren Corey, Nycole and Preston, great granddaughter Peyton, sisters Mary and Loretta, brother Steve, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Following Elster’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Private inurnment Alton Cemetery.
