She would have that job until the war’s end in 1945. She then went to work at Ohio State Life Insurance for several years before leaving to spend the rest of her years raising and caring for her four boys and family. She always managed to have fun and enjoy life. She was an avid bowler for 20 years playing in competitive local bowling leagues. Later after retirement, she was a member of the Upper Arlington Senior Center where she participated in health and fitness programs, in particular line dancing. Elsie always loved music and loved to dance as well. She also loved to travel to new places and traveled consistently until recently. Elsie’s greatest love of her whole life was her family. Not only her immediate family but all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be truly missed.
