Elizabeth M McNamee

Elizabeth M. McNamee, age 78, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025.  She was born on June 6, 1946, to the late Richard and Mary Josephine Griffith.

Elizabeth worked for the Hilliard City Schools for 32 years before she retired.  She greatly enjoyed being able to spend her free time with her family and friends.  She was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know and love her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Michael McNamee, parents, Richard and Mary Josephine Griffith, brothers, Timothy and Charles Griffith, and her granddaughter, Elissa Hatfield.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Brian and Norma, Lisa and Mike, John and Jennifer, and Joe and Jenniffer, her brother, Steven Griffith, grandchildren, Josh, Brianne, Sarah, Amanda, Faith, Rebecca, Layla, Jessica, Jacob, Matt, Jack, Lucy, and Cassie, many great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family invites family and friends for a visitation and funeral service on Monday, June 2, at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026. The visitation will begin at 10:00am and end at 12:00pm for the funeral service to begin immediately after at 12:00pm. Following the funeral service we will go in procession to Sunset Cemetery.
