Dewayne H. Williams, Sr.

Dewayne Howard Williams, Sr., age 72, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 10, 2022. He was born November 29, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dewayne proudly served his country beginning in 1967 in the United States Marine Corps and concluding his service in 1984 in the United States Navy. He married his wife Henrietta T. Williams on March 16, 1969. They had a beautiful life together, which included raising four children and four grandchildren. Dewayne loved spending time with his wife, Henrietta, playing cards, playing bingo and watching television. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Williams, his mother Margaret A. Rowan, his brother Gregory Chester and his beloved son Dewayne Williams, Jr., who passed in 1992. Dewayne is survived by his wife Henrietta, his daughters: Victoria (Danny) Shelton, Analiza T. (Howard) Traub and Michelle T. Williams, grandchildren: Jake Shelton, Jessica Shelton, Howard Traub IV and Aiden Traub, sisters Beth Ann Chester and Angelique “Cynthia” Lalonde, nephew Jeff Jenkins, brother-in-law Joven Torres, and many other family members and friends. Family will receive friends from 11:00a.m.-12:30p.m. FRIDAY, JULY 15, 2022 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where his Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 12:30p.m. FRIDAY with Father Ramon Owera, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, OH 43137.
