David Andrew Martin

David Andrew Martin (38) of Hilliard, OH passed away suddenly in Columbus, OH Tuesday, November 22, 2022. David was born in Paris, TN on May 1, 1984 to Randy Earl and Margaret (Loveall) Martin. He was an Eagle Scout and a talented electrical engineer.  David graduated from Western Kentucky University, where he met his wife and earned the Outstanding Senior Award from the Architectural and Manufacturing Sciences department. He was a valuable team member at Yazaki North America, working on design and development of wiring harnesses for future Honda car designs. 

David is survived by his beloved wife, Jessica (Tinnell) Martin; his sons, Issac and Max; his parents, Randy and Margaret Martin and parents in-law, Roy and Regina Tinnell and his brother in-law, Brent Tinnell. 

David’s career spilled over into his hobbies.  He loved all things automotive; especially racing and more specifically Formula One. He was a dedicated family man and father, constructing Lego creations with his boys.  He also loved the outdoors and enjoyed bike riding through nature. He has left many lasting wonderful memories and will be deeply missed. 

The family will receive friends at Tidd Funeral Home 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH on Saturday, December 3. There will be a gathering time at 2:00 PM and a celebration of his life at 3:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to donate to a charity of your choice in David’s name.
