David Canady

David Canady, age 89, of Hilliard, passed away August 5, 2023. David graduated from Tallmadge High School in 1953, Moody Bible Institute in 1956 and The Ohio State University with a BS in education and history and an MBA. David founded Research Management, Inc in 1974 and was a Financial Representative with Raymond James and Associates from 1976. He was an Elder at Riverside Bible Church and a recent member of Bethel Road Presbyterian Church Preceded in death by father Jesse James (Jack) Canady, mother LaVerge Lee Campbell and grandson David W. Snell. Survived by spouse of 69 years, Leah E. Canady, children: Robyn J. Snell and Phil D. (Becky) Canady, siblings Rev. Jack (Norma) Canady and Robert (Joan) Farrar, grandchildren: Crystal (Jameson) Lett, Amber Snell (Sloan Le), Lauren (Michael) Cordova, Kayla (Zachary) Michaud, great-grandchildren: Noble Lett, Henning Lett, Augustine Lett and Brecken Michaud. David was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed snow-skiing, tennis, flower-gardening, coin collecting, and travel. He was often described by friends and family as "the eternal optimist". He was loved for his sense of humor and his giving spirit.  But most of all, David loved the Lord Jesus and demonstrated that love to his family and friends.

Services for David will be held at Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hillard, Ohio, 43026 on Friday, September 22nd.  Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 12:30 with a service immediately to follow.
