Danny William Beaudry

August 1, 1954 — July 30, 2022

Hilliard

Danny William Beaudry, age 67 of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away peacefully at the Kobacker House on Saturday, July 30, 2022 after a valiant five month battle with cancer with his loving life partner Torpy by his side.

Danny was a member of the class of 1972 of Hilliard High School. He began his working career as a police officer for the City of Hilliard, OH and later transferred to the City of Dublin, OH where he first served as an officer, and moved up into the Detective Bureau, eventually achieving the rank of Sergeant. While serving in Dublin, he was selected to represent his department and attend a 3 month long advanced training conducted by and at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA. He graduated from the course and remained ever proud of this achievement and was honored to be chosen to attend. He retired from The Dublin Police Department in 2000.

Danny and his two daughters shared a love of horses. As his girls were growing up, he traveled the country with them and their horses each weekend to competitions on the quarter horse and buckskin circuits. The girls won several World Championships during their years of competition.

He spent part of his childhood growing up in the state of Arizona, loving all that it offered and as a kid, always wanted to be a cowboy. After his retirement, he returned to live in the Arizona he so loved, enjoying the beauty of the mountains and the desert and especially the SUNSHINE which he thrived on. He returned to Ohio to live after reconnecting with an old crush from high school where he remained until his passing.

He loved nature and the outdoors and all the animals and creatures in it. Hunting and fishing were among his hobbies. He had a tremendous love for all animals and had many beloved pets throughout his life. He had a magnanimous personality, was a huge people person, never meeting a stranger and was always the life of the party and could brighten any gathering with his beautiful smile and unmistakable laugh.

Danny left an indelible mark on every life that he touched and will be greatly missed by his loving partner Torpy, their beloved dog Bandit, his daughters, brothers and sisters, extended family and all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald William Beaudry, Verna Catherine Fultz and his brother Paul Frederick Nicholson.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving partner, Torpy Wilkinson, daughters, Shannon Beaudry (Jason Begley), Haley Beaudry, brother Don Beaudry, sister Cathy Beaudry Hartmann (Robert), Brothers George Robbins (Lori), Les Robbins (Debbie), Eddy Robbins (Brenda), Sister Tyra Beaudry Brown (Tom), grandchildren Jayden, Riley, and  Bryce Begley, niece, Megan Rich, nephews Colton Brown, Cory Robbins, Paul Beaudry,  Adam Robbins, Noah Robbins, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and many cherished friends.
