Dannie Eugene Pierce

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the beautiful life of Dannie Eugene Pierce, a devoted husband, cherished father, proud grandfather, and faithful friend. He passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will live on forever. 

Born on December 07, 1949 in Mobile Alabama, the only child to the late Clifton (Billie) Pierce & Margie (Grant) Wilt. He is survived by his loving brothers and sister Brad & (Janet) Marshall, Bill Marshall, Bunnie Jones, and sister-in-law Lisa Beynon. He was preceded in death by brother Nelson Wilt, brother-in-law Dennis Beynon, sister-in-law Jackie (Pete) Brooks, and nephew James Lanning.

Dannie married the love of his life, Beverly Renee Beynon, on August 30 1969, and together they built a home filled with laughter, faith, and unconditional love. Dannie was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, who served in Vietnam. He was a devoted parent of Lyndsey (Chad) Blankenship, Lauren Pierce, his chosen son Erik (Ericka) Ward, and his loving fur baby Tobi. An adoring uncle to Kenneth, Lesli, and Denise Beynon, Troy (Tonya) Lanning, Kevin (Marci) Lanning, and Jymme Lanning, a loving grandparent to Braxton, Colbie, Aiden, Addison, Caroline, EJ and chosen granddaughter Karegin Helmer and her children Emerson and Zion each of whom brought endless joy to his heart.

Family was everything to Dannie. He taught by example showing that life’s true treasures are found not in things, but in moments shared with the people we love. His warmth, humor, and quiet strength touched everyone lucky enough to know him. 

Though our hearts ache with loss, we find comfort in knowing that Dannie’s spirit lives on in the smiles, traditions, and stories that continue through generations.

A Celebration of Dannie’s Life will be held on THURSDAY, October 16, 2025 from 4pm- 7pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 NORWICH STREET, HILLIARD, OH, 43026.
