Connie Sue Combs

Connie Sue Combs, age 73, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on May 19, 1952 to the late Harold and Dorothy (Ramey) Collins.

Connie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dwaine Combs, her parents, Harold and Dorothy (Ramey) Collins, sister, Barbara Jean Silvia, brother, Harold “Dean” Collins, granddaughter, Kayla Michelle Leeth and her nephew, Phillip Matthew Collins.

She is survived by her children, Lori (Roger) Hunt, Tina Collins, Sonya Collins (Brent Dewey), and Jammie Collins (Eric Scurlock), her fur baby, Jax, sister, Debra Silvia, brother, Donald Collins, her 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

While our mom’s journey on earth was not always an easy one, we know she is now at peace. We find comfort in knowing that her story is complete in Christ. She is now walking in the light with Jesus, free from any pain, sorrow, and sickness she faced here on earth.

We will remember her with love and keep her close in our hearts until we see her again in heaven.

Connie’s family invites you to a wake on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the Amity Enterprise Baptist Church, 8336 NE Plain City-Georgesville Rd, Plain City, OH 43064. The wake will begin at 3:30PM and friends and family are welcome any time after that. The service will be held at the church the following day on Saturday, August 30, at 2:00PM
