Clyde Thompson, Sr.

Clyde D. Thompson Sr., age 66, of Washington C.H., passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Preceded in death by his parents, Denzel and Nellie Thompson; beloved mother-in-law, Helen Armentrout; brother, Glen Thompson; and sister, Shirley Martin. Survived by loving wife of 47 ½ years, Karen Thompson; children, Clyde Jr. (Sharon) Thompson of Mt. Sterling, OH, Gregg Thompson of Mt. Sterling, OH, Jason (Lisa) Thompson of South Solon, OH, and Tara (Del) Wagner of Washington C.H., OH; 9 grandchildren Ryan, Alison, Kelsey, Blake, Justin, Travis, Halie, Jason, and Ashley; brother, Roger ( Julie) Thompson; sisters, Penny (John) Gazzale, Brenda ( Scot) Zimmerman, Nancy Thompson, and Linda (Dewayne) Mankins; along with nieces, nephews, many friends, and loved ones. Family will receive friends Friday from 6-8PM at THE PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME 331 W. Main St. Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 where funeral service will be held 1PM on Saturday. Interment Pleasant Cemetery.
