Carl E. Notter

Carl E. Notter, of Hilliard, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2008. He was born October 5, 1944 to the late Juanita and Raymond Notter. He was a Vietnam veteran of the 101st Airborn, a lifetime member and past Commander of Hilliard VFW Post #4931, a member and past administrator of Portsmouth Moose Lodge #762, lifetime member of Amvets, member of American Legion Post #23, a member of New Boston Eagles Lodge #2271 and retired from Hilliard City Schools. Carl is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Shirley Notter of Hilliard; daughters, Rhonda (Jerry) Erwin of West Liberty, Stacey (Brent) Robinson of West Mansfield and Renee Patterson of Hilliard; son, Rick (Loretta) Adkins of Portsmouth; sister, Patty Frateroli of FL; 9 granddaughters; 1 grandson and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Rebecca Bush; sisters, Betty Smith and Doris Notter and brothers, Kenny and Howard Notter. Friends may call 1-4 & 6-8 PM Monday, at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, where a funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Carl will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
