Bill Whitt

Bill Whitt, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on Thursday, July 16. Bill loved gardening, home projects, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. After serving in the United States Army, Bill worked for Westinghouse and later was a paint specialist for Fournier Rubber and Supply in Columbus. Bill loved being retired and spent much of his time learning about technology, birdwatching, and researching the Whitt family history.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Nancy. Also by his parents Otis Whitt and Carrie (Thornsberry) Whitt, his brothers Claude (Opal) Whitt, James (Mary Alice) Whitt, Otis (Judy) Whitt, Jerry (Marsha) Whitt, Larry (Mary) Whitt, and his sisters Brenda (Carl) Morman and Joan Whitt.

Bill is survived by his brother Roger (Cathy) Whitt, his sister Linda (Leonard) Pack, his children Steve (Julie) Whitt and Debbie (Paul) Kish, grandchildren Erin Whitt, Devon (Polly) Whitt, and Caroline Whitt, and great-grandchildren Tegan, Felix, and Theo.

A graveside ceremony will be held at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, 3225 Dublin Road, Hilliard, OH 43026 on Wednesday, July 22 at 12:00 pm.
