Betty Ann Knapp-Miller (87) passed away at her home surrounded by family and friends. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 2nd, 2023.
Betty was born in Gallia County, OH on September 17th, 1935 to Thomas and Bessie (Cheek) Weaver. She is survived by her sons, Bob (Laura) Knapp, Randy Knapp and Brett (Valerie) Knapp; her stepdaughter, Lora (Terry) Paul; also 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Bessie; husbands, Robert Knapp, Sr and Guy Miller; son, Steve Knapp; step daughter Rebecca, and also 11 brothers and sisters.
Betty’s passion in life was to serve and worship the Lord Jesus Christ. She was known to spend 3-4 hours every day praying for others and reading the Bible. She was an active member of The Hilliard Church of the Nazarene where she was known as mother and grandmother to many. She was their #1 prayer warrior; constantly on the phone praying and loving others. Her greatest desire was that her children, grandchildren and friends would come to know and love Jesus. Betty worked a number of places in her lifetime. She enjoyed driving school bus for special needs children with Upper Arlington schools, as a lunch lady and working in the latch-key program at Hilliard City Schools. She also worked for the Columbus Dispatch, Eddie Bauer Warehouse and helped her husband with his businesses.
The family will receive friends for visitation and funeral services at Hilliard Church of the Nazarene 3669 Leap Road in Hilliard, OH. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 11th from 5:00-7:00 PM. And again on Wednesday, July 12th from 10:00-11:00 AM with funeral immediately following. Interment at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery following the service.
