Betty J. Hammitt, age 75, left this life on earth on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. Preceded in death by Husband and Soul Mate James (Jim) Hammitt; Son Jim King; Parents George and Margaret Pruitt. Survived by Daughter Tracy Hammitt, Son Randy King; Sisters Connie Scaggs and Brenda (John) Rice, Brother Danny Pruitt; Grandchildren Jeremy, Nathan and Zachary King; Niece Tamara Thomas; Great Nieces Celeste (James), Hailey and Sidney Williams; Special Loved One James (Jimmy) Alton, the glowing light in her life for the past 3 plus years; and numerous loving friends and neighbors. She will be deeply missed by all and forever loved.  Family will receive friends Sunday, April 14, 2019 2-3 pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a memorial service will follow at 3 pm. Final resting place Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Cat Welfare Association, 741 Wetmore Rd., Columbus, OH 43214.
