Barbara Jean Singer

Barbara Jean Singer, age 82, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on Monday February 8, 2021.  Born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Chester “Jimmy” and Geneva Whitney.  In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband Edwin “Ed” (2004), and brother Richard (Marie) Whitney.  Barbara is survived by her beloved son Keith (Cheri) Singer, and daughter Lisa (Bill) Heck; her five grandchildren: Brandon Singer, Jillian Singer, Kristen (Tim) Pugno, Kyle Heck and Kelly Heck; her two great-grandchildren Camden and Connor Pugno; her brothers Gene “Bud” (Irene) Whitney, and Randy (Christine) Whitney; and loving nieces, nephews and friends.  Due to COVID restrictions the family has requested a private family service scheduled for Wednesday February 17, 2021.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Columbus Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Ct, Hilliard, OH 43026.  Please visit www.tiddfuneralservice.com to share online condolences with the family.
