Barbara S. Hinely

Barbara S. Hinely, age 82, of Galloway, passed away March 16 , 2026 at the home of her only son. Barbara was born December 21, 1943 to the late George and Hazel Schaaf. 

She is also preceded in death by her brother, Stephen G. Schaaf. She graduated from West High School and attended Ohio University. Barbara was a licensed real estate agent who worked for her father in his real estate practice in Columbus, Ohio. 

Barbara is survived by her loving son who cared for her in his home the last 18 months of her life. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed time with her two grandchildren, great grandson.

Barbara's services will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, Ohio, 43026.  The visitation will begin at 11:00AM and end at 12:00PM for the funeral service to follow immediately at 12:00PM.  We will then go in procession to Sunset Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you take daily walks and exercise through simple normal human movement.
