Barbara D. Emery

Barbara D. Emery, age 74, of Hilliard, went to be with The Lord Friday, March 25, 2022.  Barb loved to travel and enjoyed baking and decorating unique cakes for loved ones. Her greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends. Barb’s caring personality led her to volunteer and help others in need. She Retired from HDR Power Systems as an Administrative Assistant for over 20 years. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jona and Johnny Phelps, sisters Irene and Peggy and infant son Jeremy Lee. Survived by loving husband of 56 years Bob, son and daughter-in-law Bob and Hope, granddaughters Morgan and Rachel, sisters Donna Colyer (husband John) and Patricia Arszman and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 6-8 pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, April 1, 2022. Inurnment at Wesley Chapel Cemetery will be Saturday for family.
