Arthur L. Melfe

Arthur L. Melfe, age 84, of Hilliard, Ohio, went to Heaven on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Born in Columbus, Ohio to the late David Melfe and Audrey Eggleston, he was also preceded in death by his step-father Herb Eggleston, his daughter-in-law Tami Melfe and his grandson Joseph Melfe. Art is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 65 years, Charlotte Melfe, his children Todd (Donna) Melfe, Gregg (Margie) Melfe, David Melfe, Gina (Josh) Lowe and Victor (Laura) Melfe, grandchildren Joshua (Shannon) Melfe, Rachel Melfe, Alan Melfe, Maria (Noah) Hochendoner, Sarah Melfe, David (Ariyan) Melfe, Jr., Wesley Melfe, Alexander Melfe, Molly Melfe, Mitchell Melfe and Thaddeus Melfe, great-grandchildren Caleb Melfe, Ezra Melfe, Asher Melfe, Faira Melfe, Finnegan Melfe and Faelyn Melfe, and many other loving relatives and friends especially Heather Pigot. Art was a life-member of the Central Ohio Anglers & Hunter’s Club. An avid shooter, Art was the 1974 State Small Bore Champion. He was an excellent instructor who taught many young people the skill of trap and target shooting. While he lived in Hilliard, Art was very active in his community. He was a former member of the Hilliard Jaycees and the Hilliard Optimist Club.
