Arley Nelson Sr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Arley (Ray) Nelson Sr on Saturday November 15, 2025.

He is predeceased by his parents, Isaac Nelson and Sarah Ferrell Nelson, the love of his life Pearl M Adkins Nelson, Grandson Shane Nelson and siblings, Brother, Gregory Nelson, sisters, June Nelson Paris, Shirley Nelson Toney and Patty Nelson. He is survived by Daughters, Sherry Nelson Hall (Terry), Ramona Nelson Carpenter, Lorelei (Lori) Nelson Huber and Son, Arley R Nelson Jr (Kara); his grandchildren, Christy, Lisa, Brandon, Brittney, Chrissy, Kelley, Nolan and Tiffany; siblings, James, Carroll, Janet, Jackie, Rick, Keith and Bobby, He is also survived by many Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

Arley, known by his family as Ray, enjoyed spending time with his family, restoring his home in Hilliard, Bowling, gardening, tinkering on his garden equipment and Fishing in Canada or pretty much anywhere.

He will be sorely missed!

His services will be held Wednesday November 19, 2025, at Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St, Hilliard, Oh 43026. Showing will be at 11:00AM, with funeral following at Noon.

We will celebrate his life after the funeral at the Church of Christ, 2779 Alkire Rd, Grove City, OH where food and drinks will be provided. All are welcome.
