Anthony Mere

Anthony John Mere, age 69, passed away December 6, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Tony is preceded in death by parents, John and Viola, and loving wife, Betty J. (Riggs). Survived by son, Jeffrey (Cathy) Mere; daughter, Toni Anita (Bob) Hunter; grandchildren, Cortney, John, Cassie, Max, Aly, and Sam; sisters, Nancy (Tom) Habovsky of Florida and Mary (Ray) Ruggiero of Iowa; brother, Tom (Sally) Mere of Florida, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Tony was a Mason of Hilliard, OH. He leaves behind an extended family from his passion of camping. His smile could light up a room and he will be missed by his family and many friends. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11am. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
