Alfred Risser

Alfred W Risser age 98, died February 23, 2018 at Brookdale Senior Living in Marysville, OH.  Alfred was born to Alfred P and Irene S Risser in Evanston, IL.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Lola L Risser, his parents, his younger sister Sue Ann (Leonard) Hagerup, and his son-in-law Michael J Fisher.  He is survived by Alicia West of Hilliard, OH, Alita Fisher of Plain City, OH and Lance Risser.  Grandchildren; Alisa (Lance) Headings, Andrea Fisher, Jason (Jamie) Fisher.  Six great-grandchildren.  Al was a self-employed metallurgical engineer.  He was a proud 1943 Purdue graduate and Triangle Fraternity member.  He served 3 years in WWII.  He was a swimming champion.  He liked opera, as well as painting, boating, traveling, hiking, biking, motorcycling, carpentry and working on anything mechanical.  He was a very special man that will be greatly missed.  Per Al's request, cremation will take place.  A private ceremony will be held.
