Alfred Baumeister

Alfred “Al” Joseph Baumeister, age 82, of Hilliard, passed away Sunday May 30, 2010. Born June 25, 1927 in Cleveland, OH. Alfred loved to sail and fly. He was a remarkable man who helped many throughout his lifetime. Graduate of Benedictine High School; B.S. Electrical Engineering from Fenn College; U.S Navy veteran of 1945-1949; Founder and President Balmac INC. Preceded in death by parents, John and Catherine Baumeister. Survived by brothers, Jack, Harold (Cynthia), and Sean (Anne) Cunningham; nieces, Cathi Elliott, Debbie (Dave) Crecelius, Beth (Randy) Powell, Ann (Lee) Humphrey, Courtney (John) Koz, Lisa (Jay) Koch, Rachel Ribar, and Amy (Jeff) Morrow; nephews, J. (Colleen) and Jack Baumeister; 20 great nieces and nephews and a host of good friends. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11am Thursday at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church 4475 Dublin Rd. Hilliard. Interment Saturday at The Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland, OH.
