Aleta Riewe

Aleta E. Riewe, age 92, born January 21,1929 in Cincinnati, OH, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021. She grew up in Columbus and graduated from West High School and Capital University. She retired from the OSU Alumni Association but her passion was teaching, especially children. She lived her life with tremendous grace and humility and was devoted to her family. Preceded in death by parents Alfred and Bessie Schwender, husband Milton Riewe, son Eric Rieve and sister Betty Anthony. Survived by her sons Kurt and Paul (Lori) Riewe, daughter-in-law Kay Rieve, grandchildren Patrick and Kyle Rieve and Caroline and John Riewe, niece Aleta Lee Anthony and nephews Bill and Tom Anthony. A private graveside service will take place in late October.
